Admission Requirements

Applicants must be at least 17 years of age and must have completed High School or have a General Equivalency Diploma (GED).   A copy of Diploma  or other third-party documentation must be presented to Dominion School of Hair Design.*  Admissions interviews and completed application form are required for all individuals to determine and establish goals, objectives and qualifications.  Each applicant must visit the school and pass a skills test to assure applicant has basic eye-hand coordination skills necessary for successful completion of the program.**

* Current Driver's License is acceptable proof of age.

** Skills test is not required for Waxing Course.

 
Admissions Procedures

• Students must apply for admission to Dominion School of Hair Design by submitting the required application form.  
• Schedule a personal interview with the director of admissions. 
• Schedule basic skills test, if applicable. 
• Present copy of High School Diploma/GED and proof of age at time of interview.
• Payment of $50 Application Fee is due at time of interview.
• Upon acceptance into the program, full payment is required or payment schedule must be arranged with our business manager. Credit check may be required if monthly plan is requested.  Additional fee of $25.00 is required for credit report.
• All students must sign a binding contract.  If contract is not signed in the presence of a Dominion representative (i.e out of state students) then notarized signature is required.
